The Formula For Internet Fame!
May 22, 2008 at 7:05 pm | In Uncategorized | 4 CommentsTo get famous on the internet, there is a special formula to make it happen with ease! First, you need to do something that nobody has done before, and something that is uniqe. Then, you need to make it count.
The formula actually is:
Uniqe Idea + Timing + Un-planned Suprise – Cheesey-ness + Knowing when to cut the crap = Internet Fame!
Unfortunately the chances of actually adding those up without screwing up are very slim, but not impossible.
The quest we are hunting for is fame, but sometimes we try too hard.

What’s stupid, crazy, and is wayyy overrated? POPULARITY!
Have you ever wasted your life trying to be someone you aren’t, just to hang out with a group of air-heads? Well, I think we all have, and to tell you the truth, I think it’s a big fat waste of time! There is no “borderline” between “cool” and “uncool”. There IS a borderline between annoying to be around, and nice to be around.
Today’s youth is so overly obsessed with popularity, almost to some point where a student might do something stupid, like do drugs, just in order to hang out with a certian clique or group. It’s STUPID! Who cares about anything anymore! It’s just a little thing in life but kids take it on like it’s the most important thing ever! “I need cool clothes”, “I need a cool haircut”, “I need to get the most popular things”… WTF? As long as you don’t act like a complete NUT (which isn’t really that hard to do), don’t annoy people, and don’t act stupid, people really don’t care about all that other stuff!
That reminds me of my next subject! REBEL! If you really want to be noticed, don’t blend in! Do something different! Wear unique cloths! Who cares if they’re against dress code! Some good stores I suggest for this look are: Hot Topic®, CafePress.com®, and Zazzle.com®. I have many T-shirt’s from those places! But, again. Don’t Blend in! Blending in is the worst mistake you will ever make! It sucks!
With finial thoughts on this topic, I think popularity is screwed up. Nobody really cares too much what you wear, but mostly how you act, and blending in is a horrible mistake. Being different and “weird” is a great thing. It means you’re UNIQUE!
To tell you the truth, being cool is not as glorious as always imagined. I’m cool. I’m popular. But I never asked for it. It really isn’t anything. It just means people like me and want to be around me.
At least you always have your friends. Popular or not.
